What special precautions are there?
Exercise caution when giving this product to a dog with hepatic or renal impairment. Never administer to a dog with a suspected or known bleeding disorder. Never administer to dogs with PSGAG (synthetic steroid) hypersensitivity.

Store vials in a dry and cool location. Temperatures should never exceed 77° Fahrenheit (25° Celsius).

Overview
Do not mix with another substance or solvent. Do not exceed the dosage or treatment regimen that has been prescribed. For a period of up to four weeks, administer twice weekly (8 injections maximum). Only intramuscular injections of this medicine are recommended. 2 mg per lb of body weight is the recommended dose.
Main Ingredients
Adequan contains 100 mg of polysulfated glycosaminoglycan and 0.9% v/v benzyl alcohol (a preservative). Other Ingredients: Water, sodium hydroxide, and/or hydrochloric acid added when necessary to adjust pH. Sodium chloride may also be added to adjust tonicity.
