Overview
For 2 to 3 minutes, wet the coat using warm water. Apply the shampoo to the ears and head and work into a lather. Repeat on hindquarters, middle, chest, and neck, ending with the legs. Pay special attention to the animal's footpads, between toes, and the underbody. Carefully wash the ears and head. Do not allow the product to make contact with the eyes. To reduce irritation in case of eye contact, instill a drop of glycerin in each eye prior to bathing. Pay extra attention to the base of the animal's tail. This is a common area for fleas to hide out. Lather the animal completely, allowing the lather to make contact for 5 minutes prior to thoroughly rinsing with water. This is an important last step in grooming. If this product is used on a dog under 15 pounds, it is recommended to wrap the animal for several minutes in a towel in an effort to absorb moisture. This also allows dying ticks and fleas to leave the animal and stay in the towel prior to drying the animal using a blow dryer or towel. Treat the outdoor and indoor areas for total tick and flea control.
