What are the side effects of Advantage Treatment Spray for Dogs?
Remove contaminated clothing and wash before reuse. Never allow skin, eye, or clothing contact. After handling, wash your hands thoroughly with soap and water prior to eating, drinking, chewing gum, using tobacco, or using the bathroom. This product is mildly irritating to the eyes and harmful when swallowed or absorbed into the skin.
What special precautions are there?
Do not use around children and animals. Only for dogs. Do not spray directly into or onto the mouth, nose, or eyes of the pet. Do not allow this product to contact the pet's genitalia. Not for use on dogs under 6 months of age. Consult a veterinarian before administering this product to a debilitated, aged, pregnant, or nursing animal. Applying this product into a sewer or drain, or in any area where drainage to a storm sewer, storm drain, body of water, or aquatic habitat could occur is strictly prohibited. Do not allow the product to enter a drain during or after application. This product is flammable. Keep it away from heat and open flame. It is also illegal to use this product in any way that is not specified on the label. Always read the product label prior to every use. You can only use this product indoors, never outdoors. Do not use it in a residential outdoor or indoor misting system or an outdoor metered release system. Do not treat dogs under 6 months old with this product. Do not wet objects enough for dripping or runoff. Do not use this product in an aircraft cabin at any time. Wait to use treated items until they are dry before using them again. If you notice signs of sensitivity, bathe your pet thoroughly with mild soap and rinse with plenty of water immediately following use of the pesticide . If signs persist, consult your veterinarian at once as sensitivity can occur after using any pesticide . Avoid contact with skin, eyes, and clothing as much as possible when using this product Wash your hands with soap and water after using this product, before eating, drinking, chewing gum, smoking, or using the bathroom. Put on chemical-resistant gloves, shoes, socks, long pants and a long-sleeved shirt before handling this product. If you accidentally get it on your skin, rinse it off right away. If you get it in your eyes, rinse them with water for 15 minutes. If you swallow some of it, drink a lot of water and contact a doctor or poison control center right away. Do not induce vomiting unless a doctor or poison control center tells you to. Do not give anything to drink to someone who is unconscious. Contact a doctor or poison control for advice regarding treatment.In case of eye contact, keep the eye held open and gently, slowly flush with water for a 15 to 20 minute period. If contact lenses are present, remove after 5 minutes and keep rinsing. How can I store Advantage Treatment Spray for Dogs?

Overview
For puppies (6 months old and up): Lightly spray the product onto a towel, then wrap the kitten in the treated towel. Ensure that the mouth, nose, and eyes remain exposed. Do not allow contact with the genitalia, and do not spray directly on the puppy. Apply some of the spray to your finger to gently apply around the mouth, nose, and eye area. Leave the kitten wrapped for 5-10 minutes. Remove ticks by combing or picking. For optimal results, treat dogs with a product like Advantage Treatment Spray for Dogs. Repeat as needed, but no more than once every 2 weeks. For dogs: Use a hand to cover your dog's eyes. Avoid direct application to the eyes, nose, mouth, and genitalia. Apply to the chest, ears, and head until dampened. Use fingertips to rub into the face and around the eyes, nose, and mouth. Spray from the neck to the tail and finish the legs last. For optimal skin penetration and if the dog has a heavy coat, spray directly against the natural direction of hair growth. Ruffle the hair with your hand, then spray behind your hand. Thoroughly coat ticks when possible. Toy and miniature breeds should be towel-dried after 30 minutes if not already dry. Repeat as needed, but no more than once weekly.
