Product Description
Atropine Ophthalmic Ointment is used to treat corneal and uveal diseases. Antimuscarinic qualities inhibit muscle receptors when applied to the eye region.

This ointment relieves inflammation and irritation in the eyes, and it also dilates the pupils. Corneal ulcers, uveitis, secondary glaucoma, and other eye diseases can all be treated with it.
How does Atropine Ophthalmic Ointment USP, 1% work?
This ointment works by blocking muscle receptors, preventing the eye from becoming accustomed to near vision. These drops dilate the pupil and are also used to treat ocular spasms and discomfort.

If the animal exhibits symptoms of an allergic response, seek veterinary care. Such symptoms include: Coma Cold limbs Pale gums Seizures Shock Vomiting Sudden diarrhea onset Scratching Hives Facial swelling Salivation can occur if the product enters the mouth.
What special precautions are there?
An eye infection can occur if the tube makes contact with the eye. Therefore, do not allow the sterile tube to make eye contact. Prevent blinking. Never rub the eye following application. Never wash the tube. Wait 5 minutes after application to instill any other eye medications. If you notice that the product's color has changed, don't use the product. Keep out of the reach of children.
What to do if overdose?
If overdose occurs, please contact your local pet hospital or emergency pet clinic immediately.

Keep at room temperature between 68-77° F
