Clavamox Chewable Tablets are a strong antibiotic for cats and dogs. Urinary tract infections, cellulitis, dermatitis, periodontal disease, abscesses, cellulitis, superficial pyoderma, juvenile pyoderma, and deep pyoderma are all treated with these potent tablets, which include potentiated penicillin.

Why use Clavamox Chewable Tablet?
Clavamox is a gram-positive and gram-negative antibiotic that is effective against both gram-positive and gram-negative infections. This drug acts on both aerobic and anaerobic microbes and has been approved for usage for up to 30 days. Canine periodontal disease, feline urinary tract infections, and soft tissue or skin disorders including abscesses, cellulitis, and dermatitis can all be treated with it in both dogs and cats.
How does Clavamox Chewable Tablet work?
Amoxicillin and Clavulanate are the two main components in this medication. Clavulanate lowers bacterial resistance, making it susceptible to Amoxicillin, a common antibiotic that affects the building of bacterial cell walls. These two substances, when combined, are extremely powerful at helping the body to get rid of infection-causing microorganisms.

What are the side effects of Clavamox Chewable Tablet?
Allergic responses are possible, albeit they are uncommon. If the animal develops any of these or other unusual side effects, stop using it right away and contact your veterinarian: Irregular breathing Rash Fever Hives Scratching Puffiness Facial swelling The following reactions may occur, but can be avoided by giving the drug with food: Nausea Decreased appetite Vomiting Diarrhea During pregnancy, this medicine is thought to be safe. Pregnant pets should be treated with caution.
What special precautions are there?
Use cautiously in pregnant or breeding pets. In case of allergic reaction, administer epinephrine and/or steroids. A semi-synthetic form of penicillin is included in this product. Keep out of reach of children.
What to do if overdose?
If overdose occurs, please contact your local pet hospital or emergency pet clinic immediately.
How can I store Clavamox Chewable Tablet?
Excursions are not authorized. Temperatures should be kept between 20 and 25 degrees Celsius (68 and 77 degrees Fahrenheit).
Helpful Tips:
Keep in mind that cultures should be obtained to determine the susceptibility of the organism. However, treatment may start before the cultures have been resulted.
Overview
Follow your veterinarian's instructions. A combination of whole tablet strengths should be used to recommend the dose (62.5 mg, 125 mg, 250 mg, 375 mg). Remove the foil strip only when ready to use. Even if the tablet is fractured, it should be consumed in its whole. CLAVAMOX CHEWABLE Tablet is advised for cats at a dose of 62.5 mg twice a day. Dermatitis, cellulitis, and abscesses should be treated for 5-7 days or 48 hours after all symptoms have stopped, but not for more than 30 days. If there is no response after three days of treatment, the treatment should be stopped and the situation reevaluated. Infections of the urinary tract may require treatment for 10 to 14 days or more. The treatment period should not be longer than 30 days. CLAVAMOX CHEWABLE Tablet is given twice daily to dogs at a dose of 6.25 mg/lb of body weight. Periodontal infections, juvenile or superficial pyoderma, wounds, cellulitis, and abscesses should be treated for 5 to 7 days or 48 hours after all symptoms have disappeared. If there is no improvement after 5 days, the treatment should be stopped and the situation reevaluated. Deep pyoderma may necessitate treatment for up to 21 days; however, the total treatment time should not exceed 30 days.
