What are the side effects of Mometamax Otic Suspension?
If your pet exhibits any of the following symptoms, discontinue treatment, flush with a mild cleanser, and notify a veterinarian: Head tilt Dizziness Hearing loss Other potential side effects, which are typically short-term, include: Premature birth or birth defects when given to a pregnant animal during her first trimester of pregnancy Behavioral changes Vomiting Diarrhea Panting Weight gain Increased appetite Increased urination Increased thirst Immunosuppression Delayed healing of wounds Cushing's syndrome (with repeated or prolonged treatment with steroids) Irreversible renal toxicity Irreversible cochlear toxicity Irreversible vestibular toxicity Partial or full hearing loss in geriatric, sensitive dogs

Do not administer to animals with a known allergy to any ingredient in this medication. Do not administer to military, police, or service dogs. Do not use in perforated or injured eardrums. Only use in other animals if your veterinarian approves of it. Only for dogs. Administer cautiously to pregnant animals. Keep out of the reach of children.
