Overview
When ready to use, begin with the smallest effective dose for the shortest period feasible. For the first day of usage, the standard dose is.09 milligrams per pound. After that, give.045 mg per pound once a day. Please keep in mind that each syringe is set to provide the.045 maintenance dosage. Use two syringes for the first day`s dosing. To administer, use the syringe that corresponds to the dog`s size. Small syringes are for animals weighing less than 30 pounds, whereas big syringes are for animals weighing more than 30 pounds but less than 160 pounds. Never use a big syringe on a tiny dog, and never use anything other than the specified syringe for delivery. After determining the syringe size, shake it before removing the cap, and then reinstall it securely after administration. Then, either straight into the mouth or mixed with food, administer. Always keep an eye out for inadvertent overdose and accurate dosage. The little syringe is sized to fit inside the container and has 1 pound dosage markings that provide.045 mg per pound. The larger syringe is designed to fit inside the bottle and has 5 pound dosage markings that provide.045 mg per pound. Round down the animal`s weight to the closest lb when using the small syringe, and to the nearest 5 lb when using the big syringe. Always follow a veterinarian`s instructions while using this medicine. Use the animal`s medical history record to thoroughly evaluate potential risks and advantages before giving.
