What are the side effects of Tresaderm?
Withdraw treatment and take steps to balance fluids and electrolytes if you see symptoms of potassium excretion, water retention, or salt retention. Tachycardia, gastrointestinal disturbances, oliguria (poor urine output), tiredness, weakness, and increased thirst are some of the symptoms. Certain responses may develop if Tresaderm is used extensively or for an extended period of time. Systemic effects are uncommon with topical corticosteroids.
What special precautions are there?
Redness at the site of application will persist 1 to 2 days if sensitivity develops. An uncommon sensitivity to neomycin may exist in certain dogs. In 2 to 5 minutes, any discomfort will subside. Mild irritation may occur if applied on fissured or denuded regions. Use only for one week. Only for topical use. Never use internally, Keep this product away from the eyes. Keep away from children.
What to do if overdose?
If overdose occurs, please contact your local pet hospital or emergency pet clinic immediately.
How can I store Tresaderm?
Refrigerate from 36 to 46 degrees Fahrenheit (2 to 8 degrees Celsius).
Overview
Clean the affected ear canal(s) of any dirt, debris, accumulation, or crust, before treatment.. After cleaning the canal, partially insert the container nozzle. Please keep in mind that while the nozzle is built for safety, this process should be approached with caution. The recommended dosage is 5 to 15 drops twice daily. Consult a veterinarian to determine the lesion`s severity and determine the proper dose. Saturate the region with this solution two times a day for lesions that aren`t in the ear. For topical lesions, a general dosage of 2 to 4 drops per square inch is recommended. This product should not be used for longer than 1 week.
