Overview
1) Take off the inhaler's cover. 2) Shake both components for 5 seconds after inserting the cap into the rear piece of the chamber. 3) Ensure a tight seal by carefully fitting your dog with an appropriately-sized face mask for his or her muzzle. 4) The Flow-Vu Indicator will move toward the dog or flutter as it inhales. 5) When the dog stops inhaling or exhales, the Flow-Vu Indicator will revert to its upright position. 6) Depress the inhaler while the dog inhales. 7) Keep the mask in position for 5 to 6 breaths, maintaining a tight seal and counting breaths with the Flow-Vu Indicator. 8) Follow your veterinarian's dosing instructions, making sure to only take one puff of medication at a time. 9) Wait the proper amount of time (as specified in the inhaler's instructions) before repeating. Consult a veterinarian for treatment options if your dog is nervous.
