What special precautions are there?
Follow your veterinarian's directions closely and consult them before treatment. This product does not counteract the anticoagulant qualities of heparin. If your animal does not improve, they may not have a vitamin K1-responsive condition. Pets may develop transient resistance to anticoagulants with prothrombin-depressing properties after receiving a significant dosage of Vitamin K1.

Take 2.5 to 5 mg/kg body weight (1 tablet per 22 lbs. for higher dosages) once a day for up to three (3) weeks or as determined by a veterinarian.
